Negotiations underway to expand Free Trade Agreement with China - PM
“Negotiations are underway to expand the scope of the agreement, and specific talks will be held in this regard,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said in response to a question regarding potential amendments to the Free Trade Agreement between Georgia and China.
According to the Prime Minister, the visit of the Minister of Economy to China will further contribute to the development of trade relations between the two countries.
“Now that the Minister of Economy is visiting China, it will additionally support the development of trade between Georgia and China. As for the specifics, these will be clarified after the negotiations are completed.
All topics will be discussed, including the Anaklia issue. Naturally, this is also one of the objectives of the visit. Negotiations are ongoing,” the Prime Minister noted.
