“Positive trends in foreign trade are continuing, with both total exports and domestic exports at record levels for the first nine months of the year,” said Vakhtang Tsintsadze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.

He said exports had grown by around 20% to more than USD 6.1 billion, while domestic exports had risen by more than 60% to over USD 3.7 billion.

Tsintsadze noted that this expansion stems directly from the state’s support mechanisms and policies aimed at fostering local production.

“The Georgian Government is promoting the development of local production. We have support mechanisms to improve access to finance, which effectively stimulate exports. The government also has free trade agreements, which further encourage exports. The government is continuing its active work, including structural reforms aimed at supporting the private sector and boosting business activity. Ultimately, this ensures high economic growth on the one hand, and creates new jobs in the country on the other,” Tsintsadze said.

In September 2026, exports increased by 4.0% to USD 731.5 million, representing a record for the month. Driven by a 41.0% year-on-year expansion, domestic exports (excluding re-exports) reached USD 470.7 million, an all-time monthly high

In January–September 2026, exports rose by 19.6% to a record USD 6,153.2 million. Domestic exports grew by 60.3% to a record USD 3,756.5 million.
