Georgia’s economic growth is inspiring - Bosnia and Herzegovina Central Bank Vice Governor
Events such as the Tbilisi Financial Summit are important for many reasons, but above all, they provide an opportunity to meet professionals from different countries, discuss key issues and cooperate on various projects, Emir Kurtic, Vice Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said.
According to Kurtic, Georgia is an excellent country for hosting major international summits of this kind.
“Georgia, Tbilisi and its geostrategic location and position clearly make it entirely logical that we are all here today discussing the important issues we face,” Kurtic said.
He also welcomed Georgia’s economic performance amid global challenges and risks, describing the country’s economic growth as impressive.
“I would like my country to achieve the same level of economic growth as Georgia. Bosnia and Herzegovina is currently facing certain difficulties in terms of economic growth. Hearing that Georgia is performing well economically is inspiring to me personally and to my country, and I believe that achieving similar results is entirely possible,” the vice governor said.
This year’s Tbilisi Financial Summit brought together around 1,000 participants from nearly 60 countries.
The summit was held for the second time this year and was jointly organized by the National Bank of Georgia, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, and the Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN), a global financial and technology network based in Singapore.
