The deadline for university applicants to register for the second round of enrolment closes today, according to an official statement from the National Assessment and Examinations Centre (NAEC).

The agency emphasised that applicants who fail to submit their educational programme preferences before the deadline will be excluded from the secondary clearing process.

“The National Assessment and Examinations Centre reminds university applicants that the deadline for selecting educational programmes expires today, 18 September, at 18:00. Candidates may select their preferred academic programmes up until this time. Applicants who fail to register their course choices will not be allowed to take part in the second round of clearing.

To submit programme selections, applicants must visit the official registration portal at www.online.naec.ge, click on the banner titled ‘Unified National Examinations – Secondary Enrolment’, log in using their personal identification number and existing password, and select their chosen academic courses.

As a reminder, eligibility for secondary clearing extends to applicants who passed the minimum competency threshold in every subject during the 2026 Unified National Examinations but failed to secure a university place, as well as candidates who fell short of the higher education threshold but met the minimum competency requirements for vocational educational programmes,” the statement specified.
