Giorgi Arsoshvili appointed as Head of Education Management Information System

Giorgi Arsoshvili has been appointed as the new Head of the Education Management Information System.

His appointment was officially announced to department staff by Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, alongside First Deputy Levan Grigiashvili.

According to the Ministry of Education, the Minister highlighted Giorgi Arsoshvili’s extensive public sector experience and extended his best wishes for success in his new role.

Giorgi Arsoshvili brings with him many years of dedicated service in the public sector. Before his appointment, he served as Director of the LEPL Public Security Management Centre “112”. Throughout his career, he has also held senior positions within the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and the Ministry of Corrections and Probation.

The Georgian Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, has departed on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, alongside an official delegation.

According to the Ministry of Education, Givi Mikanadze will meet with Ren Youqun, the Vice Minister of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

The two sides will discuss cooperation between the two nations in the fields of education and youth policy.

The Minister will also visit Peking University, Beijing Institute of Technology, and Beijing Foreign Studies University. Additionally, he will visit the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation and the China International Youth Exchange Centre.
