Ministry of Education to purchase school uniforms for primary-level pupils from Glory Textile Industry
Georgian Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Affairs will purchase school uniforms for primary-level pupils from Glory Textile Industry LLC for the 2026-2027 academic years.
According to the Ministry, the agreement signed with the company envisages providing 1 801 000 uniforms.
“The sewing plant of Glory Textile Industry LLC is based in the People’s Republic of China. The process of providing uniforms to schools will be implemented in three stages, and all stages will comply with the requirements of the legislation and principles of transparency.
Wearing uniforms for pupils of primary level will become compulsory in the 2026-2027 academic years that will contribute to an equal, healthy and organized learning atmosphere in schools and the reduction of social differences among pupils.
“With the aim to ensure timely provision of school uniforms for the new academic year, by decree of the Georgian Government, Educational Resources LLC was granted the authority to purchase school uniforms under a simplified procedure,” the Ministry of Education said.
