Georgian Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili met with British Ambassador to Georgia Gareth Ward and Head of Europe, Primary Markets at the London Stock Exchange Group, Ayuna Nechaeva.

According to the Finance Ministry, the London Stock Exchange Group presented a report on its activities and emphasized close cooperation with Georgia’s sovereign and private sectors.

The meeting focused on trends in international capital markets and the growing investor interest in the markets of Georgia and the region. The successful refinancing of Georgia’s Eurobonds in January of this year was noted.

The Georgian side provided the guests with information regarding the treasury bonds issued by the Ministry of Finance in May using the debut syndication method.

The Finance Minister touched on the government’s activities for the diversification of financial sources and the investor market. He also reviewed the country’s macroeconomic and fiscal policy trends and achievements amid current international geopolitical challenges.

image Sakrebulo Chair says no problem remains unattended, many issues resolved

10.07.2026.20:01

Chairman of the Tbilisi City Assembly (Sakrebulo) Zurab Abashidze stated that Tbilisi Municipality addresses problems promptly and that no issue remains unattended.

“I would like to tell the population that, be it Tbilisi or any other city across the world, it is a live organism. Problems are everywhere, but you cannot name any issue which is unattended by the Municipality. Many problems which existed for years have been resolved.

As for heavy precipitation, this is a problem stemming from the laws of nature, and such issues require an immediate response, which is indeed the case. I agree with the capital’s mayor that caring for Tbilisi is not solely the municipality’s responsibility; we must all look after our city,” he said.
