FM meets NEAC delegation of China
The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with Qin Yizhi, Commissioner of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission (NEAC) of the People’s Republic of China, who is visiting Georgia, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
The discussion focused on the dynamics of bilateral relations between Georgia and China, as well as the potential for deepening cooperation in various fields within the framework of their comprehensive strategic partnership.
Attention was focused on the importance of cooperation between the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and the National Ethnic Affairs Commission of the People’s Republic of China.
Within the framework of the meeting, special emphasis was placed on maintaining political dialogue at a high level, as well as on China’s support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, and Georgia’s adherence to the One China policy.

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, met a delegation of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission (NEAC) of the People’s Republic of China, led by Commissioner Qin Yizhi, the Government Administration reported.
The meeting focused on the close cooperation between Georgia and China, highlighting the elevation of bilateral relations to the level of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership as another significant milestone in the countries’ growing ties.
The parties discussed cooperation on ethnic matters in both bilateral and international formats and expressed readiness to exchange experience and best practices in this field.
The discussion also covered Georgia’s state policy on civil equality and integration, including the country’s 10-year strategy aimed at ensuring equal opportunities and fostering an inclusive society.
