Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Thursday said high-level meetings would be held during the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s official visit to Kyrgyzstan.

In her remarks, Botchorishvili noted that this visit was providing a good opportunity to discuss cooperation in the international arena, both in bilateral and in multilateral formats.

“High-level meetings will be held during the visit to Kyrgyzstan. Within the framework of the visit, a meeting of the Economic Commission will also be held, which is important in terms of the fact that cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the context of economic cooperation is developing quite dynamically. It is important that the issues that are on the agenda of economic relations between the two countries are discussed within the framework of the commission”, Botchorishvili said.

“My meeting with my colleague will also take place. Cooperation with Kyrgyzstan within the framework of international organizations is important. In this context, we have important issues to discuss. This visit provides a good opportunity to talk about cooperation in the international arena, both in bilateral and multilateral formats”, she concluded.
