Chairman of the Tbilisi City Assembly (Sakrebulo) Zurab Abashidze stated that Tbilisi Municipality addresses problems promptly and that no issue remains unattended.
“I would like to tell the population that, be it Tbilisi or any other city across the world, it is a live organism. Problems are everywhere, but you cannot name any issue which is unattended by the Municipality. Many problems which existed for years have been resolved.
As for heavy precipitation, this is a problem stemming from the laws of nature, and such issues require an immediate response, which is indeed the case. I agree with the capital’s mayor that caring for Tbilisi is not solely the municipality’s responsibility; we must all look after our city,” he said.
