Georgian PM, Turkish Ambassador discuss strategic partnership
Strategic partnership between Georgian and Turkey was discussed on Thursday in a meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Mustafa Türker, the Turkish Ambassador to the country.
The meeting focused on the opportunities for deepening relations between the two countries.
The discussions also reviewed the joint regional projects and emphasised the importance of strengthening trade and economic ties.
In this context, the officials also highlighted the importance of ensuring peace and stability in the South Caucasus region.

Government Administration Head meets Heads of UN Agencies

Head of Government Administration Levan Zhozholiani, met the UN Resident Coordinator in Georgia Didier Trebucq, UNDP Resident Representative Douglas Webb and UN Women Representative Kaori Ishikawa.
The meeting highlighted the fruitful cooperation between the Government of Georgia and UN agencies. The discussion also covered progress achieved in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), as well as the priority areas of the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for 2026-2030.
The parties discussed opportunities to further strengthen the partnership between the Government of Georgia and UN agencies.
Particular emphasis was placed on Georgia’s achievements in strengthening public institutions, developing effective public services and promoting good governance.
