Prime Minister meets with Azerbaijan’s Ambassador
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Faig Guliyev.
According to the Government Administration, the meeting underscored the high level of strategic partnership established between the two nations.
The sides discussed prospects for further deepening cooperation, highlighting in this context the strategic significance of the agreements signed during the Head of Government’s official visit to Azerbaijan.

The U.S. Department of State published the 2026 Fiscal Transparency Report, according to which Georgia is among 139 countries which meet minimum fiscal transparency requirements.
The report assesses the government’s efforts to publicly disclose key budget documents, the public availability of natural resource extraction contracts, and public availability of public procurement contracts, etc.
