“This is a historic moment for our two countries. The head of the Georgian government is visiting Tajikistan for the first time, and I am confident that a new and highly significant chapter will be written in the history of our relations.
The relationship between our peoples has always been built on trust, respect and sincerity. The Georgian people hold a special place in the hearts of Tajiks, owing to their nature, rich culture and traditions. The contribution of our Georgian friends to Tajikistan’s achievements in science, healthcare, construction and architecture occupies a special place in our history.
Our meeting carries even greater significance given that one of the main avenues in the centre of Dushanbe bears Georgia’s name. Our two countries have always understood one another well, and today our shared goal is to give serious momentum to bilateral cooperation across every direction,” Kokhir Rasulzoda said.
