Chandler Institute ranks Georgia 12th globally for investment attraction

The country ranks ahead of all G7 nations and 28 member states of the European Union, the Schengen Area, and NATO, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Türkiye.
The Investment Attraction Index is based on two global assessments: thematic studies by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Heritage Foundation.

The restrictions assessed include:
Georgia's strong performance in the Investment Attraction Index is also consistent with findings in other global reports.
Particular attention is drawn to the IMF's latest World Economic Outlook forecasts.
