Lisi Lake hosted the fourth annual charity run dedicated to supporting wounded military personnel. All proceeds were transferred to the Wounded Warrior Support Foundation, established by Silknet in 2018 to support the country's defenders and their families. Ambassadors, diplomats, and Defense attachés are actively involved in the Foundation's work.

The charity run tradition was initiated by the Tbilisi Defense Attaché Association. Compared to previous years, the number of participants increased significantly, making this year's event larger in scale.

Silknet served as the main sponsor. The event was organized by the Ministry of Defence of Georgia, the LEPL Defense Volunteers, the Tbilisi Defense Attaché Association, and the Wounded Warrior Support Foundation.

„This year marked the fourth edition of the charity run, which has now become an established tradition. This success is primarily the result of joint efforts between the Ministry of Defence of Georgia and the Defense Attaché Association. Embassies of the United States, the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Lithuania, and other countries, which are members of the Association, are actively involved in the event, once again highlighting the importance of international support. Every lari raised matters deeply, as the Foundation assists not only wounded service members and veterans, but also their spouses and children. This support is important not only financially but also, above all, morally. I want to thank the defense attachés, the Association, every participant, and the Ministry of Defence. This is a collective achievement, and I look forward to continuing this tradition in the years ahead.”

Participants included Georgian Defense personnel, wounded and injured service members, representatives of volunteer organizations, members of the diplomatic corps and their families, children, and other supporters. Participants could choose between three routes: a 3 km fun run, a 7 km intermediate race and a 21.1 km half-marathon. 

Prizes were awarded to the top three female and male finishers in the 7 km and 21.1 km races. Special prizes were provided by Sheraton Metechi Palace, Garmin, Mogzauri, and Gino Paradise. Mogzauri also presented special awards to volunteers who assisted organizers throughout the day.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Lisi Lake administration provided the venue free of charge. TKT.GE transferred the full amount collected through registration to the Foundation without charging any service fees, while TrailLab provided the services required to organize the event free of charge and in accordance with all relevant standards. Each registered participant received a branded T-shirt and a commemorative medal.

The event raised nearly GEL 15,000, all of which went directly to the Foundation. Since establishing the Wounded Warrior Support Foundation in 2018, Silknet has contributed GEL 300,000 annually to charitable initiatives through the Foundation.
