Georgian Railway adds extra Tbilisi–Batumi–Tbilisi services from June 16 due to increased passenger demand

Due to increased passenger demand, Georgian Railway is adding extra services on the Tbilisi–Batumi–Tbilisi route starting from June 16.

According to Georgian Railway, the additional trains will run from June 16 to September 30 inclusive, according to the following timetable:

Trains will depart Tbilisi for Batumi at 00:30, arriving in Batumi at 05:42. Return services will depart Batumi for Tbilisi at 00:35, arriving in the capital at 05:34.

The company also noted that from June 16 to October 9 inclusive, trains will operate on the following schedule:

Departing Tbilisi for Batumi at 10:10, and returning from Batumi to Tbilisi at 18:30.

Tickets can be purchased via the website and app (available on iOS and Android), at Georgian Railway ticket offices, and through Georgian Railway’s partner companies.
