Georgia launches large-scale tourism marketing campaign across Scandinavia
Georgia’s National Tourism Administration on Tuesday launched a large-scale marketing campaign across the Scandinavian countries, holding a roadshow in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, the administration’s press service said.
Presentations and B2B meetings were held in the capitals of all three countries - Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm.
The informational and business meetings brought together 10 Georgian tour operators and up to 50 local tour operators.
As part of the marketing campaign, banners promoting Georgia as a tourist destination were placed on central streets and squares in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm.
The active marketing campaign in the Scandinavian region is expected to raise awareness of Georgia as a tourist destination and increase tourist flows, particularly in light of the direct Copenhagen-Tbilisi air connection.
