Georgian wine was showcased in the Netherlands at the international gastronomy festival, Folie culinaire, in Maastricht, with financial support from the National Wine Agency and organised by its contractor company Wijnimport Bleeker.

Around 20 Georgian wineries showcased nearly 50 classical and Qvevri wine styles during the three-day event, drawing thousands of visitors, including journalists, bloggers, importers, and HoReCa representatives.

According to the National Wine Agency, the festival, held annually since 2013, traditionally attracts over 5,000 visitors, providing a significant platform to enhance the profile and boost exports of Georgian wine across the European market.

Promoting Georgian wine and raising its brand awareness in international markets remains one of the primary mandates of the National Wine Agency. To support market diversification, the Agency has been executing targeted marketing and promotional campaigns across North American, European, and Southeast Asian markets since 2013.
